In order to install Wakaflex Rapid Flashing in all weather conditions and to the highest standards of quality, Redland offers a selection of accessories that perfectly complement the lead-alternative material.
Wakaflex Rapid Flashing M-Glue is an adhesive that allows Wakaflex Rapid Flashing to be installed even when the tiles are wet.
It can also be used with Redland’s Uni-Vent Rapid Ridge/Hip, Dry Hip and Continuous Hip dry fix systems where it is applied along the line of the butyl strip on the rollable membranes – allowing fixing work to continue even in wet weather.
M-Glue comes in easy to use 290ml tubes that fit into a standard caulking gun.
The adhesive is odourless, free of solvents and phthalates, fast curing and has a remarkable resistance to climatic influence.
Wakaflex Rapid Flashing Sealant has been specially formulated to work with Wakaflex Rapid Flashing making it adhere very well to the surfaces. This is different to other sealants on the market, which can be used with Wakaflex Rapid Flashing, but generally do not stick well to its surface.
It comes in a standard sized 310ml application tube that fits inside a standard caulking gun (available from any merchant or DIY store).
Material: UV resistant, bitumen-friendly synthetic rubber (silicone free)
Optimal Temp: +5°C to +40°C
Storage: Cool and dry place, protected from frost
The Butyl Roll is used with Wakaflex Rapid Flashing where additional adhesion between the flashing and the tiles is required.
