NEW RAPID EAVES VENT SYSTEM

Without adequate ventilation, cold roof spaces can be subject to a significant condensation risk and eaves level ventilation is the recommended solution.

The new system forms part of Redland’s RAPID+ range designed as a cost-effective option for use primarily on domestic roof renovation projects and stocked through merchants.

The Rapid Eaves Vent system is comprised of:

  • Rafter Roll – a semi-rigid, roll-out rafter ventilation tray that maintains an uninterrupted air ventilation gap between the underlay and horizontal ceiling level insulation in the loft space.
  • Rapid 2-in-1 Eaves tray – providing 10,000 mm2/m of continuous ventilation over the fascia while supporting the underlay at the eaves to ensure a positive fall of the underlay down to the eaves gutter.
  • Eaves Comb – used to prevent birds, large insects, rodents etc. entering the roof space.

The three components will be stocked separately and are available immediately. The Rapid Eaves Vent system can be used with Veltitech 145 – the new non-breather membrane from Redland – and Uni-Vent Rapid Ridge to form a complete cold roof ventilated system.

For Redland Select contractors the products will be covered under the 10 year HomeSpec System guarantee as part of a Redland roof system.
