BMI Redland is part of BMI Group, a combination of Braas Monier and Icopal, and the largest manufacturer of flat and pitched roofing and waterproofing solutions throughout Europe. With a UK manufacturing heritage in roofing going back to 1919, BMI Redland produces a comprehensive range of concrete and clay tiles, in both plain and profile formats; along with reconstituted slate tiles and an extensive collection of fittings, components and ancillaries.

BMI’s apprentice competition demonstrates its commitment to roofing’s future

The search is on to find the sectors top apprentices in BMI UK & Ireland’s 2019 Apprentice of the Year competition. The two previous competitions were hailed a great success, unearthing some exciting roofing talent and, with this year’s competition open for entries, BMI looks back on the competition and the great things that have been achieved by past entrants.

No battle for BMI Redland Heathland tiles at Hastings House

Award-winning architect Des Ewing, famous in Northern Ireland for his part in the television show House of the Year, chose the BMI Redland Heathland Ember plain tiles when he designed Hastings House, a substantial property overlooking the Belfast Lough.

BMI UK & Ireland launches to the UK construction industry
