The Rapid Eaves Vent system is designed for use in cold pitched roofs with unheated loft spaces as a means of introducing low level roof space ventilation into the loft space.
A semi-rigid, roll-out rafter ventilation tray that maintains an uninterrupted air ventilation gap between the underlay and horizontal ceiling level insulation in the loft space.
Provides 10,000 mm2/m of continuous ventilation over the fascia while supporting the underlay at the eaves to ensure a positive fall of the underlay down to the eaves gutter.
The Eaves Comb is used to prevent birds, large insects, rodents etc. from entering the roof space. The Eaves Comb is required with the following Redland slates/tiles:
For all other Redland slates/tiles the Eaves Comb can be omitted from the installation.
